What You Need to Get in the Seat

• 1 year of experience operating both a cherry and reach forklift
• Steel-toe shoes
• Skilled with tall racks and tight turns
• Able to lift (up to) 50 lbs. safely and steadily
• Focused, safety-first mindset

A Typical Day on the Reach

• Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials from trailers, rail cars, and shipments.
• Perform pallet building, picking, packing, and shrink wrapping for transport.
• Use RF scanning equipment to track inventory and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Move and handle hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Inspect loads to ensure proper stacking, balance, and secure transport.
• Rotate inventory to support FIFO (first-in, first-out) processes.
• Complete quality assurance checks, reporting damages or shortages.
• Document shipments, including bills of lading, manifests, and inventory records.
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance or repair needs.
