Job Summary The Driving Range Laborer provides manual labor and logistical support for driver training operations. This position is responsible for assisting with the setup, breakdown, and maintenance of driver training ranges, equipment, and materials to ensure training activities are conducted safely and efficiently. The role supports instructors and rangemasters by preparing training areas and maintaining operational readiness.

**CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**

Role and Responsibilities
  • Set up and break down driver training ranges, including cones, barriers, markers, and training aids.
  • Move, transport, and stage equipment and materials required for training exercises.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of driving ranges and support areas.
  • Inspect training equipment and report damaged or unserviceable items.
  • Assist with maintaining inventory of range supplies and materials.
  • Support instructors and rangemasters with logistical needs during training activities.
  • Ensure training areas are reset and prepared between exercises.
  • Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines during range activities.
  • Perform general labor tasks in support of driver training operations as directed.

Required Qualifications and Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to perform manual labor in an outdoor training environment.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and operational instructions.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
Work authorization/security clearance requirements
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required FLETC access credentials.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
  • Work is performed primarily outdoors on driver training ranges and associated support areas.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting throughout the workday.
  • Regular setup, movement, and breakdown of cones, barriers, and training equipment.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and wind.
  • Exposure to moving vehicles and active training environments.
  • Must follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Travel: 0-15%
