Aloha! One of our DOD clients is seeking an L1 Technician, also known as a Help Desk Technician. This role is in support of the Army Enterprise Service Desk. Worksite location: 111 7th Street Honolulu, HI 96819 (Ft. Shafter on-site) Top Skills' Details 1) A+, Network+ or Security+ certified 2) Light help desk or desktop support experience 3) Active Secret clearance Additional Skills & Qualifications Candidate must be a US Citizen. Job Description -Resolve technical problems and answers queries by telephone or self-service ticket in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems. -Diagnose, identify, isolate, and analyze problems utilizing historical database records. -Route calls to product line specialists, application, or system support specialists. -Maintain and updates records and tracking databases. -Alert management to recurring problems and patterns of problems. Must be flexible to work any of these shifts below. Candidates WILL be able to move to the shift they prefer once there are new openings, but starting out their the new person on the team and need to be flexible to the service desk needs. There are several shifts that the client has since they are 24/7/365. They offer most of the team a 5x8 schedule and a 4x10 for personnel that work nights or weekend shift or rare special circumstances. 1hr lunch breaks are mandatory for all shifts minus nights and weekends. Workers can take them if they like but they will need to account for the time. So with lunch, workers will have a "9hr work day". Day Shift 0500-1400 0600-1500 0800-1700 Swing Shift 1200-2100 1300-2200 1400-2300 1500-0000 Graveyard Shift 2100-0700 2200-0600 2200-0800 Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Honolulu, HI.
