Clinic Nursing Supervisor / Nurse Manager (RN) Location: Wilmington, CA We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Registered Nurse (RN) Leader to oversee clinical and administrative operations at our Wilmington clinic. This role provides direct leadership to a multidisciplinary team and plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality patient care, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance. Position Overview The Clinic Nursing Supervisor is responsible for supervising a staff of approximately 36 team members, including LVNs, Medical Assistants, and Front Desk staff, while ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. This leader serves as a key liaison between clinical teams, physicians, and leadership to support day-to-day operations and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities * Provide direct supervision and leadership to clinic staff, ensuring high standards of patient care and customer service. * Collaborate with nursing leadership and cross-functional departments to resolve patient care concerns and meet access and service demands. * Monitor and maintain patient care quality and service standards to meet member expectations. * Serve as a patient advocate, proactively addressing and resolving patient care issues. * Recommend, implement, and evaluate process improvements to enhance systems, workflows, and patient outcomes. * Oversee the proper use, maintenance, and inventory of medical equipment, supplies, and medications. * Partner with the Site Administrator to develop, maintain, and assess staff competencies. * Ensure implementation and adherence to departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. * Collaborate closely with Physicians, the Medical Director, Site Administrator, and Director of Ambulatory Services to guide service delivery and daily operations. * Assist in managing human resources matters, including employee relations, labor issues, safety, and risk management. * Support resolution of administrative and operational challenges as they arise. * Participate in management and leadership meetings to support organizational goals. * Lead the selection, hiring, onboarding, training, and supervision of all non-provider medical group staff. * Conduct performance evaluations and recommend merit increases, promotions, and corrective actions as appropriate. * Ensure all staff are trained and operating in compliance with clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards. Required Qualifications * Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license * Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) only * Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA only * 3-5 years of RN clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, home health, nursing home, or healthcare facility * Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting * Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently * Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds * Proficiency with EMR systems, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and the ability to quickly learn new applications * Proven ability to supervise and direct administrative and clinical staff Preferred Experience * Health plan auditing and CMS experience * Mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback experience Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Los Angeles, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $46.00 - $62.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
