For the Charmaine McKissick-Melton Communications Fellowship (Summer 2026) The Pratt School of Engineering is seeking a part-time Communications & Marketing Intern to support strategic communications initiatives that promote the school's research, faculty expertise, student achievements, and community impact. Duke Engineering is committed to advancing engineering education and research that addresses complex global challenges-from climate and sustainability to health innovation, AI, and infrastructure. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, hands-on learning, and industry partnerships, our school prepares students to lead and innovate in a rapidly changing world. The Communications & Marketing Intern will support the development of compelling, mission-driven content that highlights impact across digital platforms. This role will contribute to storytelling efforts that align with institutional priorities and enhance the school's visibility among prospective students, alumni, faculty, partners, and donors. Duke Engineering maintains several communications platforms that the intern will help support and elevate, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and web-based news features. Other Requirements This position will report to the Digital & Brand Strategy team within the Strategic Marketing & Communications group at the Pratt School of Engineering. The Communications & Marketing Intern will work in close collaboration with the Senior Multimedia Producer and the Senior Integrated Marketing Communications Specialist. Be Bold.
