DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will apply a thorough understanding of the Motor Vehicle Code and Department of Transportation regulations to accurately review and process a wide range of driver licensing and motor vehicle applications. Using a personal computer, you will handle transactions such as renewing or replacing driver licenses and photo identification cards, updating commercial driver medical certifications, processing restorations, and fulfilling requests for paid driver information, including resolving bad check and refund cases.

Your responsibilities will also include reviewing and processing vehicle ownership and registration applications for both in-state and out-of-state transactions. This involves issuing standard and specialty registration plates, managing requests related to imported or exported vehicles, correcting odometer readings, processing salvage titles, and completing registration renewals. Additional duties include updating or replacing credentials, recording or removing lienholder information, processing weight changes, restoring suspended registrations, issuing disability parking placards, and creating records for returned registration plates.
