West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Neurosurgery in the WVU School of Medicine are seeking a neurosurgeon (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) for Independence Health System at Latrobe and Westmoreland Hospitals. The practice will focus on all aspects of spinal neurosurgery but will also include general neurosurgery.

The WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute (RNI) is a comprehensive multidisciplinary patient care, education, and research institute providing neurological and mental healthcare through more than 300,000 visits annually. The 300+ physicians and scientists of the RNI improve lives by pioneering advances in neuroscience, brain health, and therapeutics. The RNI team uses the latest technologies with academic, government, and industry partners to make tangible progress to combat public health challenges ranging from addiction to Alzheimer's disease. Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of neurosurgery on both an inpatient and outpatient basis.

Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical licensure. Successful candidate must have completed a neurosurgery residency program and must be board certified/eligible in neurosurgery. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
