About the Opportunity
DMI, LLC is seeking a Subject Matter Expert in Information Security Analysis to join us Duties and Responsibilities:
The Subject Matter Expert in Information Security Analysis serves as the premier cybersecurity authority within the TALON program, providing strategic advisory services to TSA's IT leadership on cybersecurity risk management, security architecture, and compliance program maturity.
- This individual brings recognized expertise across the full federal cybersecurity framework-spanning NIST RMF, FISMA, DHS cybersecurity directives, and Transportation Sector-specific security requirements-and applies that expertise to assess and shape the security posture of TSA's engineering portfolio.
- The SME engages directly with TSA's CISO organization, ISSOs, and the O&M contractor to drive integrated security outcomes across concurrent engineering efforts.
- Key responsibilities include providing authoritative guidance on security architecture for the most complex and sensitive engineering initiatives, including AI/ML integrations, cloud migrations, and OT modernization at airport locations.
- The SME advises on SSI handling requirements, POA&M resolution strategies, and ICAM implementation approaches, and provides technical oversight of security testing and assessment activities across the TALON portfolio.
- In critical incident scenarios, this individual serves as the senior cybersecurity advisor, providing real-time technical guidance to TSA stakeholders and the O&M contractor in support of rapid issue resolution.
Qualifications
Education and Years of Experience:
- A minimum of 9 years of senior information security experience in federal environments is required, with demonstrated expertise in security architecture, risk management frameworks, and incident response. Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are expected.
- Comprehensive knowledge of DHS cybersecurity policies, TSA SSI regulations, and aviation security information requirements is critical.
- All personnel must be U.S. citizens or Lawful Permanent Residents with the ability to obtain TSA fitness determination and access Sensitive Security Information in accordance with 49 CFR Part 1520.
Background Requirements: Successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance. Citizenship Status Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen Physical Requirements: None required for this position. Location: Remote, US
