Bringing Home the Dough

The Data Governance Manager will conduct in-depth analysis of data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities in data quality, leveraging the use of AI capabilities. This role will be responsible for facilitating cross-functional collaboration and implementing the required data quality monitoring tools and processes. They will work closely with business functions to define the roles needed to help establish a Data Management Governance team.

Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities

* Assist in promoting effective use of standards for data management and governance.
* Engage in Data Governance working sessions with business functions and IT to support governance standards, practices and workflows.
* Lead the Data Architecture reviews with Data Engineering teams, setting and reviewing standards.
* Conducting in-depth analysis of sales, financial and supply chain data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities in data quality.
* Develop data quality standards, business requirements, data cataloging, data dictionaries, data lineage, and definition of KPIs for Master Data Domains, Transactional Data, and Business Metrics.
* Ensure that protection of sensitive information and adherence to data privacy policies are followed
* Resolve cross-functional issues raised by Data Stewards, Data Quality Leads, Data Custodians, and Regions / Functions and escalate to D&A Leadership when necessary
* Participate in change management to communicate data management solutions, develop training approach and materials, and facilitate adoption of data management standards and tools
* Coordinate with Business Data Stewards and the IT function to ensure identified data issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner
* Collaborate with team and other project leaders to develop data management strategic and operation plans including prioritization and coordination of future initiatives
* Develop business acumen across functions to translate business needs to D&A development teams
* Review and test solutions built to ensure they conform to requirements
* Assist in exploring AI to identify data quality opportunities, including but not limited to validating datasets, collaborating with data scientists and engineers, implementing monitoring tools to detect anomalies, supporting AI governance in documentation, lineage tracking and compliance checks.

Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications

* 10+ years of experience in data assets, information management
* 3-5+ years of experience working with data quality and AI enabled solutions, including validation, monitoring, or automation use cases
* Strong hands on SQL experience, including writing and optimizing complex queries to support data analysis, data validation, and reporting
* Strongly desired experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), including familiarity with POS data and store execution metrics
* Functional knowledge in SAP S4 (one of Commercial/Sales, Supply Chain, or Finance) required
* Prior experience with database management, including relational databases and structured data environments
* Experience with metadata management, data catalogs, and lineage tools, such as Microsoft Purview or Collibra

Additional Ingredients: Essential Job Requirements

* Bachelor's degree required in Analytics, Business or related disciplines preferred

Salary Range- $130,000 - $141,000
