Segra is searching for a qualified and experienced Manager, Compensation and HR Analytics to join us in a full-time capacity. This role will be based in the Kansas City, MO office.



Location Requirement:


The work arrangement for this role is a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of three (3) days in the office, with flexibility to work remotely two (2) days each week. We are only considering hiring in the Kansas City, MO office.



Role Overview:


The Manager, Compensation and HR Analytics develops and executes compensation strategies that support organizational goals. This role conducts market analyses, manages salary surveys, and oversees the administration of salary and incentive programs. The incumbent also leads the optimization of HRIS systems and manages HR reporting and analytics to support key HR functions. The position partners with HR and leadership to resolve compensation, HRIS, and reporting issues while ensuring regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include evaluating and recommending improvements to compensation, HRIS, and reporting practices, and providing guidance to promote internal equity and employee satisfaction. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are essential.



Qualifications




  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field. PHR/CCP Certification preferred.


  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of human resources and compensation required, HRIS experience preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience managing people. Payfactors experience preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel and Database Management skills required. Benefits, Accounting / Finance exposure preferred.
  • Key Competencies:

    • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze salary data and market trends to make informed compensation decisions.
    • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in data management, reporting, and compliance with compensation and HCM policies.
    • Communication Skills: Effectively conveying compensation and HCM strategies and changes to employees and leadership.
    • Knowledge of Employment Law: Understanding relevant labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance in compensation practices.
    • Strategic Thinking: Developing compensation strategies that align with organizational goals and attract/retain talent.
    • Interpersonal Skills: Building relationships with stakeholders, including HR, finance, and leadership teams.
    • Problem-Solving Skills: Addressing compensation-related issues and finding solutions that balance employee satisfaction and organizational budget.
    • Project Management: Managing compensation projects, such as salary surveys or pay structure revisions, efficiently and effectively.
    • Coaching and Development: Supporting and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and understanding of compensation and HCM practices.
    • Collaboration: Working effectively with cross-functional teams, including HR, finance, and executive leadership, to achieve objectives.
    • Change Management: Leading and managing changes in programs while ensuring buy-in from affected parties.

Salary Range: $116,025 - $135,000
