VP, Human Resources The Vice President (VP) of Human Resources will be responsible for the development and execution of human resource strategies to support the organization's growth and mission. This position will provide leadership to the HR department and partner with senior management to drive performance, employee engagement, and organizational development. The VP of HR will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and development, and HR compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals and objectives.
- Lead talent management initiatives, including recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
- Oversee the development and execution of training and development programs to build leadership and organizational capabilities.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and drive corporate culture and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations and manage HR-related risk.
- Direct compensation and benefits strategy to ensure competitiveness and alignment with the company's objectives.
- Provide counsel to management and staff on HR-related issues, including employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Oversee workforce planning and organizational development strategies to optimize the workforce.
- Manage and mentor the HR team, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
- Measure HR effectiveness through key performance indicators and adjust strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including a strong background in organizational development and talent management within federal government contracting environment.
- Proven track record of developing and executing HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner with senior leadership.
- Ability to manage and lead a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
