Description
Acara Solutions is seeking an Assembly, Integration & Test Technician to join our client on a Contract-to-Direct opportunity available in Littleton, CO 80127.
Employment Type: Contract-to-Direct
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Pay Rate: $27.00-$35.00/hour
Industry: Defense & Space Manufacturing
What You'll Do:
  • Assemble spacecraft hardware, including electrical and mechanical systems
  • Perform soldering, PCB assembly, and inspection
  • Build wire harnesses and connectors
  • Conduct component and assembly-level testing
  • Support environmental and spacecraft testing campaigns
  • Follow step-by-step work instructions to ensure accurate and repeatable builds
  • Document assembly processes and maintain production records
  • Operate tools such as torque wrenches to meet product specifications
  • Support propulsion module and spacecraft-level testing activities
  • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience with:
    • Mechanical and/or electrical assembly
    • Hand tools and torque tools
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and basic drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document work accurately
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Experience with soldering and PCB assembly
  • Experience with wire harness build and connector installation
  • Background in aerospace or high-reliability manufacturing environments
  • Experience with testing of components or assemblies
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
