Overview
As the Coborn's AR and Revenue Cycle Team Lead, you will take ownership of the entire retail enterprise revenue cycle and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate revenue capture, billing, cash application, reconciliation, and collections across all stores, pharmacies, fuel stations, corporate, DSD, and third-party sales channels. In this hands-on leadership role, you will guide, coach, and inspire your AR and Revenue Cycle teams, drive process standardization, maintain strong internal controls, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure revenue integrity, timely reporting, and cash flow performance. Position Location: This position is an in-office position, 4 days (Monday-Thursday) with the ability to work remotely on Friday. End-to-End Revenue & AR Ownership
- Own the full revenue and accounts receivable lifecycle, including revenue capture, billing, cash application, reconciliation, collections, and reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of sales, tender, and customer transactions across the enterprise
- Maintain accountability for AR aging, working capital performance, and revenue-related internal controls
- Serve as the operational owner for revenue and AR processes, partnering with Stores, Merchandising, Pharmacy, Operations, IT, Treasury, and Finance
- Act as a liaison for internal and external audits related to revenue and accounts receivable
Revenue Cycle Operations
- Lead and actively support enterprise sales and tender processing, reconciliation, and reporting across all locations and business units
- Own accounting oversight for third-party sales channels, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reconciliation
- Design and maintain standardized reporting tools and templates to support sales, tender, and exception visibility
- Direct variance identification, investigation, and resolution to ensure revenue integrity
- Ensure team reconciliations are completed accurately and on time, including assigned general ledger and subledger accounts in support of close
- Develop and maintain documentation and procedures that support consistency, control, and audit readiness
Accounts Receivable & Billing Operations
- Lead and support enterprise AR and billing operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant invoicing, cash application, and collections
- Own cash application and account reconciliation across all customer and business lines, including DSD, alliance, corporate, pharmacy, rent, gift cards, and central coin
- Monitor customer accounts, credit exposure, and unapplied cash, driving timely resolution of discrepancies and payment issues
- Direct collections activities and customer inquiry resolution in partnership with business stakeholders
- Ensure accurate AR aging, customer statements, and working capital reporting to support cash flow and close
Performance Management, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and maintain team performance scorecards measuring productivity, quality, accuracy, timeliness, and customer service
- Monitor AR working capital performance, including DSO, aging trends, and cash flow impacts, and communicate insights to business partners
- Analyze trends and exceptions to identify root causes, drive corrective actions, and implement process improvements
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including system enhancements, reporting optimization, and process standardization
- Serve as a subject-matter expert and trusted partner to cross-functional teams
Team Leadership, People Management & Operational Control
- Provide direct leadership for AR and Revenue Cycle staff, including hiring, onboarding, training, and daily work direction
- Plan, assign, and reprioritize work to meet operational, month-end close, and audit deadlines
- Act as a hands-on leader, stepping in to resolve complex issues and ensure quality outcomes
- Set performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and formal evaluations
- Ensure operational continuity through cross-training, coverage planning, and appropriate segregation of duties
- Reinforce adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls while identifying and mitigating risks

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field or equivalent relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounts receivable, billing, or revenue cycle operations
- 2+ years of experience in a team lead, working supervisor, or similar hands-on leadership role with direct reports.
- Experience supporting high-volume, transaction-intensive environments, preferably in retail, grocery, pharmacy, or multi-unit operations
- Demonstrated experience with end-to-end revenue and AR processes, including reconciliations, cash application, collections, and reporting
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Merchandising, Operations, Stores, IT, Treasury, and Finance

Pay Range
USD $63,000.00 - USD $99,000.00 /Yr.
