We are seeking a Facilities Operations Coordinator to support our customer in Crane, Indiana. In this role, you will provide facility management and workplace operations support for a dynamic mission environment supporting Expeditionary Electromagnetic Warfare Division activities. This position supports facility planning, maintenance tracking, safety and environmental coordination, infrastructure reporting, and day-to-day operational coordination needed to ensure personnel, projects, and facilities remain aligned to mission requirements. The successful candidate will help coordinate facility-related schedules, project status, data calls, safety and security inputs, and workplace support functions while working closely with Government personnel, OSH representatives, and division leadership. This role also supports facility issue reporting, documentation, briefings, and continuous improvement efforts across the supported organization.
This role requires in-person support.
Duties:


  • Support facility management and workplace operations for Government and contractor personnel supporting mission activities.
  • Develop and maintain facility and maintenance schedules, including plans of action and milestones for facility-related efforts.
  • Maintain and update databases and trackers used to monitor facility maintenance, infrastructure status, and associated action items.
  • Generate and present facility status reports, project updates, and briefing materials for division staff meetings and program reviews.
  • Collect, manage, and input data related to facility infrastructure, safety, security, and environmental matters.
  • Document safety discrepancies in the Enterprise Safety Application Management System (ESAMS) and support follow-up actions in related Government systems, including CAMS, as required.
  • Coordinate with the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) office and other department personnel to support facility compliance and operational readiness.
  • Serve in designated support roles such as Hazard Material Coordinator and Fire Warden, in accordance with Government direction and approved training.
  • Assist with facility-related data calls, reports, records, equipment/facility drawings, and sketches.
  • Support meeting coordination, briefing preparation, schedule updates, and project status reporting associated with facility and infrastructure matters.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma principles and process discipline to identify, plan, track, and improve facility-related workflows and support processes.
  • Assist with planning and coordination for special events, meetings, and other workplace support activities as needed.


Desired Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Facilities Management, Project Management, or a related field.

Desired Experience:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in facilities coordination, administrative operations, workplace operations, project coordination, or comparable support functions.
  • Experience maintaining schedules, trackers, databases, reports, and status briefings.
  • Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders in a structured Government, military, industrial, or technical environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, competing priorities, and action items.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing briefings, reports, and meeting materials.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while independently driving assigned tasks to closure.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience supporting facility maintenance tracking, infrastructure coordination, safety reporting, or environmental compliance.
  • Familiarity with ARCHIBUS or similar building/facility management systems.
  • Familiarity with ESAMS, CAMS, or comparable Government safety and action-management systems.
  • Experience in a DoD, Navy, NSWC, or Government laboratory environment.
  • Training or experience related to Fire Warden, HAZMAT Coordinator, or occupational safety support functions.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles and continuous improvement methods.
  • Experience supporting classified or security-sensitive work environments.


Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
