The Regional Credit Analyst I supports, with supervision, the Regional Credit Supervisor (RCS) and Regional Credit Manager (RCM) in assuring adherence to the company's credit and collection policies and procedures and actively participates in credit extension and risk management of their assigned AR portfolio. Assists the Regional Collector as needed. The Regional Credit Analyst I provides analytical support and other assistance to evaluate the effectiveness of credit activity and recommend appropriate courses of action to regional credit and collections leadership.

Our Regional Credit Analyst Team:
- Investigates and verifies information provided on new account credit applications by utilizing bank and trade references, along with D&B and Summit credit reports and the internet to evaluate and establish credit limits within authority up to $50,000. Makes recommendations to Regional Credit Manager for approvals of amounts over authority levels.
- Performs new account set-ups on the company database by utilizing the information provided on the approved credit applications and new account e-form, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Proactively evaluates accounts for orders being held and takes appropriate steps to determine cause and initiate corrective action based on circumstance. Supports TTI sales representative or manager as needed. Effectively and proactively initiates communication with the collaborating Regional Collector to effectively address account and order risk issues.
- Conducts credit reviews for customers, per policy, and maintains customer account information within the Credit and Collections computer system.
- Prepares and reviews weekly status reports for Regional Credit and Sales Management
- Performs Customer Account risk management by utilizing the Credit and Collections computer system, including reviewing daily task lists, Customer at Risk reports, etc.
- Provides troubleshooting assistance to the sales team by analyzing customer account information, evaluating customer balances, billing discrepancies, and orders being held, to allow optimum account performance.
- Provide, suggest, support, and implement alternatives to work processes that lead to increased efficiencies and quality of work of the regional credit team.
- Effectively communicates and escalates issues and information to the Regional Credit Supervisor or other appropriate levels of management on a timely basis
- Develops and maintains productive working relationships and rapport with both internal and external customers.
- Provides support to the regional credit department by preparing and maintaining business correspondence, creating customer files, and providing credit references and proof of deliveries.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required. Pursuing or possession of bachelor's degree a plus, a minimum of one to three years of experience in commercial credit and collections required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of various accounting systems and knowledge of accounts receivable preferred.
- Pursuit of NACM CBA and CBF Certification is a plus.
