This strategic role is responsible for ensuring the financial integrity, operational efficiency, and scalable delivery of our most complex projects. The ideal candidate will lead a blended team of finance and project controls professionals, acting as the central point of ownership for all systems, processes, and reporting related to project performance. You will be tasked with balancing the need for sector-wide standards with the unique reporting and delivery requirements of our key hyperscale and co-location clients. Some things you can expect to do: Integrated Control Framework (Design & Standardization):

Serve as the senior point of contact for key clients regarding all financial and controls-related matters, building trusted-partner relationships. Oversee the development of client-specific reporting packages that integrate financial, schedule, and operational performance data to meet unique contractual needs. Ensure that the control systems and reporting outputs for our two major hyperscale and one co-location client are delivered with exceptional service and accuracy.
Financial Leadership & Profitability Management:
Oversee the entire cost management lifecycle, from annual budgeting, staff cost planning, and unit rate setting to change management validation and profit projections. Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including work-in-progress (WIP), profit and loss statements, and cash flow projections for the Mission Critical sector. Provide strategic financial guidance and actionable insights to senior leadership to maximize financial outcomes and drive profitability.
Technology & Systems Architecture:
Own the technology stack for the Mission Critical sector, including financial, operational, and project management tools. Drive the selection, customization, and deployment of technology (e.g., Procore, Smartsheet, Oracle Primavera, Power BI) to improve efficiency and data accuracy. Champion the integration of enterprise systems to create a seamless flow of data from the field to executive-level dashboards.
Team Leadership & Development:
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing, integrated team of 8-10+ professionals across project accounting and project controls (cost, schedule, and field process). Foster a culture of accuracy, client responsiveness, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making. Define team workflows, set performance expectations, and manage resource allocation for multiple, simultaneous client programs.
Enterprise Integration & Change Management:
Partner closely with corporate shared services, including Ryan's Operational Excellence, Technology, and Accounting teams, to align sector processes with company-wide policies and strategic initiatives. Lead the rollout of new systems, tools, and processes through structured change management programs, including the development and delivery of training for project teams. Act as the senior escalation point for all project control and financial issues across field teams and client interfaces.
Job Requirements:
