Desktop Deployment Technician (PartTime - 20 Hours a week) (Contract Role) * * Overview We are seeking a Desktop Deployment Technician to support a largescale enduser device deployment for an enterprise customer. This engagement supports the first wave of approximately 2,900 enduser deployments, with additional scaling underway. The schedule is driven by enduser requests and will fluctuate based on deployment volume. This is an excellent opportunity for an entrylevel technician looking to gain handson experience working with enterpriselevel environments, hardware rollouts, and enduser support. Key Responsibilities * Deploy, install, and configure Windows-based enduser devices * Image systems and perform hardware/software installations * Troubleshoot hardware and desktop issues (Windows 10 primarily) * Manage assets, inventory, and deployment tracking * Provide professional, customerfocused support during device handoffs * Follow deployment processes, documentation, and instructions precisely Top Skills Required * Strong communication skills * High attention to detail * Ability to follow instructions and documented processes * Reliable transportation to deployment sites * Prior device deployment experience (academic, internship, or professional) Technical Skills * Desktop & EndUser Deployment * Windows 10 (Win10) * Hardware installation & troubleshooting * System imaging & configuration * Desktop support * Asset management & inventory tracking * Customer service and enduser interaction * Exposure to Windows 7 environments (legacy) Schedule Details * Hours per week: 20-25 * Weekly schedule: * 2-3 weekdays between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM * 1 late day per week working until 7:00 PM Experience Level * Entrylevel candidates encouraged to apply * Ideal for technicians looking to gain handson experience in enterprise deployments * Some prior deployment or desktop support exposure required Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Burlington, VT.
