About the Team

The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) is a collaborative team of engineers, technicians, and manufacturing specialists. We combine traditional and advanced technologies to develop extremely high-precision components that power Keysight's industry-leading test & measurement equipment.

About the Role

We're seeking an R&D Tech Specialist who will serve as technical support across our wetprocess and assembly areas. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data analytics, automation, and handson manufacturing support.

You'll partner closely with engineers and production teams to modernize workflows, automate routine tasks, and build data systems that drive smarter decisionmaking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop automated datacollection pipelines for wetprocess and assembly departments
  • Build statistical models, and analysis tools to monitor process health and drive corrective actions.
  • Create automated reporting systems that reduce manual effort and improve traceability.
  • Identify repetitive tasks and implement automation solutions (scripts, macros, etc.).
  • Support process characterization through data analysis
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform rootcause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
  • Train operators and technicians on new tools and automated workflows.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing
  • Associate degree or higher, or equivalent technical training
  • Strong dataanalysis skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with chemical processes
  • Experience with assembly processes
  • Experience building automated workflows, scripts, or data pipelines
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
