Trimble is seeking a Cloud, Systems, and SQL Support Manager to serve as a player-coach for our high-performing AECO Support Engineering team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical execution and business strategy, ensuring our construction software suites deliver world-class reliability to global users while fostering a culture of innovation and growth.

AECO: The Trimble AECO segment provides digital construction solutions that increase precision and productivity for Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations.

In this role, you will be the driving force behind the technical health of our flagship ERP and Project Management suites, directly influencing the operational success of major construction firms. You will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of our support organization by implementing AI-driven automation and mentoring the next generation of technical leaders in a collaborative, high-impact environment.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a world-class team of 10-15 engineers, managing the full employee lifecycle and fostering career development through regular coaching.

  • Spearhead the resolution of high-priority system-down incidents, acting as the primary point of contact to ensure rapid service restoration for global customers.

  • Drive operational excellence by analyzing performance metrics like MTTR and CSAT to optimize workflows and exceed strategic OKRs.

  • Partner with Product Engineering to conduct root cause analysis on recurring trends, influencing permanent fixes and product enhancements.

  • Facilitate knowledge sharing through customer webinars and technical training sessions to elevate the expertise of both internal teams and clients.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise technical support for complex, multi-tiered software applications such as ERP or FinTech.

  • 3+ years in a leadership role managing technical teams in high-volume environments.

  • Deep technical proficiency in MS SQL Server administration, data manipulation, and reporting tools like SSRS or Power BI.

  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically Microsoft Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop, and identity management.

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical issues into clear business insights for stakeholders.

Bonus Points For

  • Prior experience with construction-specific workflows, such as AP/PO or payroll posting.

  • Familiarity with implementing AI and automation tools to increase support efficiency.

  • Experience managing 24/7 on-call rotations and global resource allocation.

Logistics:

Location: Lake Oswego, Westminster, CO or Atlanta, GA

Hybrid: 4 days in office/1 day remote

Travel Requirement: 10%

Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
