As a Security Patrol Officer - Tech Company - Overnight in Los Gatos, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a dynamic technology and media location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels and documenting observations in a timely way.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and assist with visitor processing and/or directional support while maintaining professional interactions.
• Support Allied Universal and site leadership by preparing clear reports, communicating relevant updates, and following post instructions for after-hours activity, deliveries, and/or special events.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
