As a Security Officer Badge Room in Hialeah, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support security-related operations through routine patrols and strong communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with location procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing activity at gates, doors, and loading or receiving areas, and communicating with staff regarding access-related issues.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with attention to access points, restricted areas, and other security-related conditions that may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
