Overview
Senior Advisor, Cloud Sales is a senior, fieldaligned role focused on accelerating TierPoint's public cloud growth through deep partnership with AWS and Microsoft field organizations. This role serves as a strategic liaison between TierPoint and hyperscaler sellers-building mindshare, enabling cosell motions, and ensuring shared opportunities progress efficiently through aligned execution. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Senior Advisor is responsible for shaping and advancing hyperscalersourced pipeline through joint account planning, field engagement, and close coordination across sales, solutions, marketing, and operations. The role emphasizes partnerled opportunity development, execution discipline, and crossfunctional alignment rather than individual transaction ownership. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of AWS and Microsoft partner motions, the ability to influence without authority, and comfort operating in matrixed environments. The Senior Advisor plays a critical role in strengthening TierPoint's hyperscaler relationships by improving pipeline velocity, maintaining partner operational excellence, and reinforcing TierPoint's position as a trusted, highperforming cloud services partner.
Responsibilities
Hyperscaler Field Engagement
CoSell Pipeline Generation & Management
- Source and influence cloud opportunities through hyperscaler referrals and joint account planning
- Register and manage opportunities within AWS, ACE and Microsoft Partner Center
- Partner with TierPoint sellers to accelerate cosell execution and improve win rates
- Ensure pipeline velocity through proactive followup and crossteam coordination
Seller Enablement & Internal Collaboration
- Facilitate cosell meetings between TierPoint and hyperscaler field teams
- Partner with marketing, product, and engineering teams to align messaging and gotomarket motions
Operational Excellence
- Maintain high standards of CRM hygiene, ensuring accurate metadata, partner attribution, and stage progression
- Ensure AWS ACE and Microsoft Partner Center are updated within required timelines
- Support partner scorecard improvement through data accuracy and program compliance
- Drive internal alignment across sales, solutions, and operations teams
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in partnerled, solutionoriented technology sales, alliances, or cloud gotomarket roles within the public cloud ecosystem
- Proven ability to support and influence complex cloud opportunities through AWS and Microsoft partner motions
- Strong understanding of how cloud solutions are positioned, scoped, and advanced in collaboration with hyperscaler field teams
- Experience working with senior customer stakeholders in advisory, consultative, or solutionalignment contexts
- Demonstrated success operating in matrixed environments, influencing outcomes without direct authority
- Experience coordinating across sales, solutions, marketing, and operations to drive consistent execution
- Familiarity with AWS and Microsoft partner programs, tooling, and cosell processes (e.g., partner portals, opportunity registration, program compliance)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and services, including Azure, AWS, and managed or hybrid cloud offerings
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize effectively, and maintain high standards of operational rigor
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Willingness to travel to partner, customer, and internal events as needed
Working Conditions
- This is a remote opportunity for someone who primarily has experience on the east coast. However, it's preferable that the candidate reside in one of the following locations:

- Boston, MA ; New York, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, or Tennessee as we have data centers nearby for on-site capabilities when needed.
Pay Transparency TierPoint is committed to practices that promote pay equity and transparency. We provide a compensation range for roles that may be hired in locations with pay transparency law requirements. It's important to note the pay range may be narrower than displayed, as various factors are used to determine the offered compensation package including skill set, level of experience, geographic locations, and other relevant factors- i.e. budgetary requirements. Pay Range $160,000.00 - $246,222.37
