Acquisition Support Specialist

The Opportunity:

As an acquisition management professional, you know that both sides of the acquisition and contracts lifecycle are pivotal to your clients' missions. We're looking for someone like you to be a liaison to the government. Bring your passion to support pre- and post-award federal contracts and improve the processes that defend our nation.

As a Federal Acquisition Management Professional at Booz Allen, you'll work closely with our defense clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of all they need for optimal end strength and ensuring that their mission is our mission. This is an opportunity to impact our country's defense acquisition and contract process.

You'll complete procurement request packages and be responsible for the safe storage and handling of sensitive documents. You'll provide acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project's success. From creating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to obtaining concurrence, you'll deliver meaningful acquisition support.

Thisrequirementdemandsexpert-level acquisition and contracting support for complex programswith strong strategic thinking and an ability to manage intricate acquisition challenges. This rolewillensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations,assistin the development ofacquisition strategies, and manage procurement activities throughout the program lifecycle.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience supporting federal acquisition processes throughout the entire lifecycle frominitialplanning and requirementsthroughcontract award, administration, and closeout, ensuring compliance with FAR or DFARS and agency-specific regulations
  • Ability to assistwith the development of Acquisition Requirements Packages (ARP), including acquisition documentation such as Procurement Work Directives (PWD) or Statements of Work (SOW),and within the parameters of OCI and NDAguardrails
  • Ability to providecontractualinsightrecommendations through synthesizing inputs from technical, contracting, and program management sources to drive the timely completion ofacquisition documentation
  • Ability to supportthe preparationand reviewofpre-awarddocumentation withstakeholders, to ensureaccuracyandcompliance withFAR, DFARS, or AFARS, and agency or organizationguidelines
  • Ability to review,monitor,and trackcontract documentation forcompleted awards withanemphasis onfinancialreviews, invoicingmonitoring,and contract data requirements lists (CDRLs)submissions
  • Ability to provide regulatory reviews of CDRLs toassistwith conformance for final reject or acceptance by contracting officials
  • Ability to support the maintenance of program documentation across the acquisition lifecycle
  • Ability to assistwith data collection, reporting, contract file audits, and readiness documentation
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field
  • Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Certifications

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
