The Supply Chain- Scheduler/Planner is responsible for developing and managing the weekly site production schedule, optimizing run sequences, and aligning plans with service, inventory, and capacity requirements. This role collaborates closely with Operations, Planning, and Procurement to ensure timely execution of production activities and supports continuous improvement of scheduling processes and stability. Additional Information For this position the travel is 10% This role is not remote/hybrid. This role will report to Sherwin-Williams Columbus, OH Site located at 2121 New World Drive Columbus, OH 43207. Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. - Develop, publish, and maintain the weekly production schedule for the site.
- Optimize production sequences to minimize changeovers and maximize throughput.
- Adjust schedules in response to demand fluctuations, RM availability, and operational constraints.
- Collaborate daily with Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Transportation, and Buyers to resolve schedule risks.
- Provide visibility to future bottlenecks or resource constraints and propose mitigation plans.
- Report schedule performance metrics including plan adherence, service impact, and schedule stability.
- Contribute to planning SOP development, scheduling standards, and runrule enhancements.
- Support CI initiatives that improve operational flow, inventory health, and customer service.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Must have a bachelor's degree or four (4) years of work experience in scheduling/buying
- Must have at least two (2) years of work experience in production scheduling, planning, operations, or supply chain roles
- Must have experience managing weekly production schedules in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualification:
- Have a bachelor's degree or higher in supply chain management
- Have experience with manufacturing, materials management, and production environments
- Have experience with scheduling tools and ERP/MRP systems
- Have experience with production processes, raw materials, and inventory flow.
- Have work experience using ERP software such as Oracle Cloud, SAP, etc.
- Have at least one (1) year of expereince using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and/or Outlook)
