Description The Department of Psychiatry is seeking to hire a part-time Licensed Marriage Family Therapist to join the Insomnia Clinic. The Insomnia Clinic provides behavioral treatment for insomnia that do not involve medications. Primary duties include: Running therapy sessions using cognitive-behavioral therapy Reviewing intake materials to develop personalized treatment plans Tracking patients progress through sleep diaries, clinical assessments, and session interactions Writing progress notes and entering clinical data in EMS Trading psychology interns, externs, and residents Other clinician duties as assigned Please note: this is a limited position that may convert to career Salary range: $55.63/hr - $73.40/hr Qualifications Advanced degree in a mental health field Valid CA License in Marriage Family Therapy (LMFT) Minimum 1 year of experience as a CBT-I provider Previous experience with insomnia patients Strong computer skills including word processing, e-mail systems, spreadsheets, and electronic medical records Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing Ability to work and practice professional relationships with other therapists, medical personnel, and patients
