Housekeeper

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning the main house, guest houses and any nearby properties with the ability to perform museum quality cleaning with proficiency in special surfaces (wood, glass, leather, antiques, silver, etc.).

• Organizes personal items and closets as directed
• Handles dry cleaning needs
• Laundry and ironing
• Inventories, orders, and stocks the laundry room, medications, and pantry with all needed equipment and supplies per guidelines provided
• Changes bedding and make beds as directed.
• Replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items
• Gathers and empties trash bins
• Cleans furniture and fixtures as directed while using only approved products
• Dust furniture, walls, machinery, and equipment
• Carries linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, among other things as required
• Washes dishes and cleans the kitchen
• Willingness to run routine errands such as dry cleaners, groceries, etc.
• Additional Housekeeper responsibilities and duties as needed and requested by the Director of Residences

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Legally able to work in the United States
