Description

OVERVIEW:

Maintains cleanliness and safety of SF Kroc Community Center and grounds to provide a welcoming and safe experience for guests, staff and program participants.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Ensure floors remain clear of all tripping and other hazards
  • Maintain and ensure all floors are clean, swept, mopped, and / or vacuumed weekly
  • Maintain and ensure all restrooms are clean, swept, mopped, stocked, and sanitized weekly
  • Empty trash receptacles as needed.
  • Clean and re-stock restrooms as needed.
  • Clean and re-stock breakroom as needed.
  • Support the ordering and stocking of cleaning supplies and cleaning supply inventory.
  • Regular deep cleaning services as assigned
  • Support in event and program set-ups as needed and as requested by supervisor.
  • Other cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



  • Have familiarity with cleaning general spaces (i.e. bathrooms, classrooms, garage, etc.) and cleaning supplies
  • Able to learn and be trained in operating cleaning/maintenance machines as directed and as needed (i.e. hand trucks, carts, commercial floor cleaners, etc.)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Valid CA driver's license (Preferred)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and get along with others.
  • Team player


EQUIPMENT USED:



  • Modern office equipment and relevant software.
  • Relevant janitorial and maintenance equipment.
  • Center iPads as needed


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
