Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter incidents, and support a professional, welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
• Assist with access control activities by monitoring entry points, verifying approved access, and reporting unauthorized persons and/or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
• Support a professional environment by providing directions, helping to de-escalate tense situations, and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Must be willing to work in and/or around a hospital morgue.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
