Position Overview

The Senior Technical Product Owner provides strategic ownership and leadership for the enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) product ecosystem, including eGRC (RSA Archer), Aravo, Compliance Hub, and integrated GRC capabilities.

This role is accountable for product strategy, roadmap direction, and business outcomes, ensuring GRC platforms scale to support enterprise risk governance, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness. The Senior Technical Product Owner operates as a connective leader across Risk, Compliance, Audit, Technology, and vendors, balancing regulatory demands with technical feasibility and longterm platform sustainability.

This role is accountable for outcomes, not just delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap Ownership

  • Own and drive the multiyear product strategy and roadmap for enterprise GRC platforms, aligned to enterprise risk strategy, regulatory requirements, and transformation initiatives
  • Define product vision, success measures, and outcomes tied to audit readiness, risk transparency, operational efficiency, and control effectiveness
  • Make prioritization and tradeoff decisions across platforms, initiatives, and investments to optimize enterprise value

Enterprise GRC Enablement

  • Ensure the GRC platform ecosystem collectively supports:
    • Integrated risk and control visibility
    • Scalable thirdparty risk management
    • Audit and compliance automation
    • Crossframework reporting and evidence reuse
  • Drive standardization of workflows, data models, and integrations across the GRC portfolio
  • Partner with architecture and engineering leaders on platform modernization, scalability, and technical debt reduction

Executive Stakeholder Leadership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Technology leaders
  • Communicate product strategy, investment rationale, delivery progress, and outcomes to executive audiences
  • Represent the product function in governance forums, funding reviews, and strategic planning discussions

Vendor & Financial Management

  • Own strategic vendor relationships, influencing vendor roadmaps and prioritization to meet enterprise needs
  • Support business cases, funding requests, and ROI articulation for GRC investments
  • Ensure vendor performance aligns with contractual obligations, delivery expectations, and enterprise standards

Coaching & Role Modeling

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Grade 27 product owners and analysts
  • Establish and reinforce product management best practices across the GRC portfolio, including backlog health, roadmap governance, and outcome measurement

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of experience in technical product management or product ownership for enterprisescale platforms
  • 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise platforms in regulated environments (e.g., risk, compliance, audit, financial services, healthcare)
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience applying GRC, risk management, compliance, audit, or control frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, HITRUST, SOC) within technology platforms
  • 2+ years of experience in proven ability to lead complex, crossfunctional initiatives, coordinating delivery across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • 2+ years of experience collaborating with engineering, architecture, and external vendors on roadmap planning and delivery
  • Advanced level of proficiency in written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to and influencing senior or executivelevel stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience owning multiplatform product roadmaps with enterprise impact
  • Handson experience with RSA Archer, Aravo, compliance or audit workflow platforms, or similar systems
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, funding models, and investment tradeoffs
  • Familiarity with risk and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, HITRUST, SOC)
  • Background in healthcare, financial services, or other highly regulated industries

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
