You will engage in meaningful projects, participate in networking events, and receive mentorship from experienced professionals.
In this internship opportunity, you will act as a liaison between McKinsey, Stamford High School, and workshop leadership to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. You will serve as a mentor to Stamford High School students, offering guidance, encouragement, and support to help them succeed. Additionally, you will provide regular updates to McKinsey leadership on developments, challenges, and opportunities related to Stamford High School initiatives.
You will lead efforts to photograph auction items in the office for the silent auction scheduled for July-August, prior to the office relocation. This will include capturing high-quality images of auction items and creating a visually appealing presentation deck to showcase them and maintain and update the silent auction deck, ensuring accuracy and reflecting the latest developments.
You will assist in organizing office events, including room setup, catering arrangements, post-event cleanup, schedule management, and meeting coordination. Additionally, you will support office logistics to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment, including: assisting with the maintenance and deployment of office A/V equipment and laptop projection technology and managing office supply inventory, preparing and submitting orders, and unpacking deliveries.
You will also assist in coordinating campus and recruiting events and analyzing recruitment data to evaluate the effectiveness of various strategies and provide actionable insights. Lastly, you will help organize training workshops and learning sessions for McKinsey colleagues and contribute to the creation of educational materials and resources for internal use.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Currently in high school
  • Interest in business, consulting, or professional services
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
