What does the Sr. Adaptive Planning Solutions Analyst do at Swire Coca - Cola? The Senior Adaptive Planning Solutions Analyst is a hands-on, independently operating individual contributor responsible for the design, build, and support of Workday Adaptive Planning solutions across key planning domains. This role partners closely with FP&A, Operations, and other business stakeholders to translate planning requirements into scalable, highperforming models that support enterprise planning and execution. This role owns solution delivery for assigned planning areas, applies Adaptive Planning best practices, and operates with partnering and collaborating with our lead planning and forecasting architect while extending the footprint of our planning models to deliver truly connected planning vision.
Responsibilities
- Independently lead requirements and working sessions with FP&A, Operations, and other stakeholders
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional requirements, and UAT scenarios
- Partner and collaborate with our senior planning architect
- Provide recommendations on planning model design, assumptions, and tradeoffs
- Design, build, and enhance Adaptive Planning models, sheets, dimensions, calculations, and assumptions
- Own solution design for assigned planning areas with considerations for performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Apply Adaptive Planning best practices to ensure consistent, user-friendly, and efficient models
- Support enhancements, redesigns, and ongoing optimization of existing models
- Monitor data integrations and model outputs to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Troubleshoot and resolve data quality, mapping, and reconciliation issues
- Partner with data engineering and integration teams on endtoend data flows
- Apply foundational data modeling concepts including hierarchies, mappings, and star schema principles
- Plan and participate in UAT testing and deployment activities
- Follow established change management and release processes
- Support production issues and postdeployment stabilization
- Ensure solutions incorporate user feedback and evolving business needs
- Develop and maintain model documentation, technical specifications, and user guides
- Participate in design and build reviews
- Stay current on Workday Adaptive Planning capabilities and industry trends
- Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, model design, and user experience
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Finance, Accounting, Business, Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience) required
- 5+ years experience in IT, Finance, or other business function required
- 3+ years experience with Workday Adaptive Planning (Adaptive Insights) or similar EPM / planning platforms required
- Demonstrated experience building and supporting budgeting, forecasting, or workforce planning solutions required
- Experience leading requirements discussions and working sessions with business stakeholders required
- Experience supporting data integrations, ETL processes, or upstream source systems preferred
- Exposure to other EPM platforms (Oracle Hyperion, Oracle Cloud EPM, SAP BPC, SAP SAC, etc.) preferred
- Experience working across multiple planning domains (Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, HR) preferred
- Strong understanding of planning processes across Finance and related business functions
- Strong analytical, problemsolving, and conceptual thinking skills
- Advanced Excel skills to support analysis, validation, and reconciliation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to business users
- Familiarity with Agile delivery practices
- Interest in growing toward broader solution design or platform leadership responsibilities
