Job Description

Summary

Supports the execution, sustainability, and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs at the site. This role partners closely with the EHS Manager and operations leaders to deploy EHS processes, support training and engagement activities, conduct audits and inspections, and ensure consistent adherence to established safety and environmental standards.The Process Support Lead - EHS focuses on process execution, frontline engagement, data tracking, and continuous improvement, serving as a key connection between EHS strategy and daytoday operations. Regulatory ownership, permitting, and agency interaction remain with EHS leadership.

Description of Duties and Responsibilities

All tasks are required to be conducted in a safe manner with the use of management suggested PPE.

The following is a list of specific duties, which are considered essential functions of this job. This list is not exhaustive and the employee who occupies this position is expected to assume any/all duties assigned by the Manager or designee, irrespective of whether such duties are specifically contained in this list. This is consistent with our need to be flexible and responsive to our customers.

  1. Support the implementation and daily execution of site EHS programs, procedures, and standard work aligned with regulatory and company requirements.
  2. Partner with the EHS Manager to deploy new or revised environmental, health, and safety initiatives across operations.
  3. Coordinate, deliver, and track required EHS training to ensure compliance with OSHA and sitespecific requirements.
  4. Conduct routine EHS inspections, audits, and observations; document findings and support corrective action followup.
  5. Provide frontline support for hazard identification, risk reduction, and safe work practices through active floor presence and coaching.
  6. Participate in EHS incident, nearmiss, and environmental investigations, including data collection, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.
  7. Maintain EHS records, logs, and trackers required for audits, reporting, and compliance assurance.
  8. Support behaviorbased safety, engagement initiatives, and sustainability programs (e.g., Growing Green).
  9. Analyze EHS data and trends to identify improvement opportunities and escalate risks or gaps as appropriate.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements
Good computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel, Advaris, SAP. Forklift License

Required educaton requirements: High School Diploma

Preferred education requirements: Associate's degree
