Asset & Wealth Management - New York - Associate, Non-Self-Sustaining Advisor - 2849323

Job Duties: Associate, Non-Self-Sustaining Advisor with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Create comprehensive wealth management plans for high-net-worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. Work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from the firm's deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities, and global reach. Deliver the firm's investment platform, spanning all product and service offerings, including tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning, and private banking and lending services. Leverage prior background and experiences to build a Private Wealth Management business. Work to source and develop new business opportunities as well as support existing client relationships. Display a strong investment acumen and knowledge of the firm's platform and asset allocation strategies.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior employment must include two (2) years of experience with: investments, asset allocation, portfolio construction, and implementation; knowledge of factors influencing portfolio performance and ability to analyze and articulate comprehensive investment results to both colleagues and clients; sourcing new client relationships as part of a broader business development and relationship management skillset; and working with Know Your Client (KYC) requirements and risk management frameworks in line with regulatory guidance. Domestic travel required up to 25% of the time to meet with current and prospective clients at their respective locations or where firm-sponsored events take place.

Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York-based position is $160,000.
