Security Officer - Radio Control

As a Security Officer Radio Control in Aurora, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional supporting a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate responses, and communicate critical updates to help maintain a secure environment. In this role, you will remain a visible, reliable point of contact, deliver strong customer service, and support security-related operations with agility, teamwork, innovation, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, communication systems, and/or other site technology to identify unusual activity and dispatch appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Receive and document calls for service, incident details, and status updates, then relay information to on-site personnel, management, and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Support security-related operations by maintaining activity logs, preparing incident documentation, and communicating post orders, shift updates, and priority information to assigned personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while helping to coordinate resources across the location and surrounding perimeter as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
