Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform mobile rounds, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication while bringing a reliable, caring, and team-focused approach that reflects our values of agility, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including hallways, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, with awareness that working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support visitor screening processes, and/or assist with directions and general assistance.
  • Support staff during disruptive situations, help manage orderly movement in high-traffic areas, and communicate with supervisors and/or local responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Hospital-required vaccines are required.
  • Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
  • A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
