Security Officer Screening Coordinator

As a Security Officer Screening Coordinator in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a corrections location, where you will help monitor entry points, screen people and property, and support daily security-related operations with professionalism and strong communication. In this role, you will remain visible, report concerns, and provide courteous service while working as part of a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and guided by integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or personal property for prohibited items using approved procedures and screening equipment.
• Monitor entry points, verify identification and authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity according to site protocols.
• Communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and local authorities as needed while maintaining detailed logs, reports, and other required records.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
