Pay Rate: $23.60 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response actions appropriate to an armed post at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, management, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-value locations, verifying credentials and/or authorizations while following post orders and applicable armed officer protocols.
• Support opening, closing, and general daily operations by remaining visible, maintaining awareness of surroundings, and reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious activity in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
