Setup Operator

Who this is for:
This role is built for someone who enjoys working with their hands, understands how machines work, and takes pride in setting up equipment the right way-not just the fast way. If you've worked in manufacturing, maintenance, automotive, construction, or any mechanical environment, you'll likely feel at home here.

• Set up and change over wire binding machines to meet production specs and deadlines
• Work independently and alongside a small team (1-2 others) to keep jobs moving efficiently
• Read job specifications and ensure machines are dialed in for accuracy and quality
• Troubleshoot setup issues and make real-time adjustments to keep production on track
• Hit setup time targets based on production schedules (BOM-driven)

• Hands-on mechanical experience (manufacturing, automotive, construction, or similar)
• Confidence using hand and power tools (pliers, drills, nail/staple guns, etc.)
• Ability to read measurements, work with fractions, and understand dimensions/tolerances
• Basic understanding of how machines operate (mechanical and/or hydraulic systems)
• Ability to read job specs or blueprints and translate them into machine setup
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

Bonus if you've run or set up production machinery before-but not required if you're mechanically sharp and quick to learn.
