Job Description The Associate Director, Workplace Technology and Business Engagement serves as the senior technology leader and primary IT partner for Vertex's Real Estate, Facilities, Physical Security, and Workplace Operations organizations. This role is responsible for defining technology strategy, managing a portfolio of enterprise applications, and delivering digital solutions that enable business capabilities across the global workplace environment. The role owns the technology roadmap, governance, and lifecycle management of platforms supporting workplace operations while driving innovation through AI, automation, analytics, and modern enterprise technologies. In addition, the Associate Director leads the technology workstream for office expansions, relocations, new site openings, workplace modernization initiatives, and M&A integration activities, ensuring the successful delivery of workplace technology, infrastructure, physical security, collaboration, and operational systems. As a senior member of DTE, the Associate Director partners closely with business leaders to understand strategic priorities, translate business needs into technology roadmaps, and ensure the successful delivery and operation of applications and platforms that support workplace operations, facilities management, physical security, and employee experience. This role combines business engagement, product ownership, portfolio management, and technology leadership. The successful candidate will drive innovation through AI, automation, analytics, and modern enterprise technologies while ensuring operational excellence, security, scalability, and business value. The Associate Director leads a team responsible for application strategy, project delivery, vendor management, and operational support while collaborating across DTE, Corporate Real Estate, Facilities, Engineering, Security, EH&S, Procurement, and external partners to deliver impactful business outcomes. #LI-HYBRID Pay Range: $172,000 - $258,000Disclosure Statement: The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
