An Outbound Loader is a warehouse professional responsible for efficiently loading, stacking, and securing products into trailers, containers, or trucks for shipment. They ensure orders are accurate and, often using RF scanners

check for damage, maintain load stability to protect cargo, and adhere strictly to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities



  • Loading & Unloading:Manually loading and stacking merchandise onto pallets, conveyors, or trailers.
  • Order Accuracy:Verifying that the correct products are loaded according to shipping orders.
  • Safety Compliance:Adhering to all safety procedures (e.g., OSHA), which may involve working in cold/warm environments.
  • Equipment Operation:Operating material handling equipment, such as sit down forklift and cherry picker.
  • Documentation:Utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track inventory and shipment movements.



Required Skills and Physical Demands



  • Heavy Lifting:Frequently lifting/moving items
  • Endurance:Standing, walking, stooping, and kneeling for long periods.
  • Attention to Detail:Checking orders for accuracy to prevent shipping errors.
  • Teamwork:Coordinating with coworkers and drivers to ensure timely dispatch.
