We are seeking a Commercial Account Manager - Business Development to support growth within our Industrial Segment. This role combines strategic account management, business development, and technical sales to help customers improve reliability, efficiency, and overall operational performance.

What You'll Do



  • Support Industrial Segment sales and profit goals through account growth and new business development
  • Partner with Sales and Operations to increase share of wallet within existing and prospective accounts
  • Develop strong relationships with strategic industrial customers and deliver a superior customer experience
  • Provide technical support related to industrial lubrication, reliability programs, equipment applications, filtration, and failure analysis
  • Identify customer challenges and recommend value-added solutions that improve equipment performance and profitability
  • Support reliability program development, outage planning, and implementation of customer initiatives
  • Collaborate with vendor partners to maximize product offerings and market opportunities
  • Track market trends and identify opportunities for growth within targeted industrial segments
  • Assist with training, mentoring, and technical development of sales associates
  • Represent RelaDyne professionally at customer sites, industry events, and business meetings


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered
  • 5+ years of industrial sales, engineering, maintenance, reliability, lubrication, or related industry experience preferred
  • Strong technical sales, relationship management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate customer needs into practical business solutions
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to travel 50-70%
  • Must reside within reasonable commuting distance of Houston, TX
