Role: IT Business Analyst

Location: Texas (Complete Remote)

Duration: 5 + Months

We are looking to fill a contractor role for several months to help with Project Tempo (move to a new Time Tracking and Absence system for our hourly colleagues). This role will be heavily involved in developing and tracking the cutover process as we move current companies to the new system over four stages.

Cutover Coordinator

This position is responsible for supporting the project management team in the planning, execution, and monitoring of the project cutover and deployment stages. This role involves coordinating project activities, managing documentation, and ensuring effective communication among project team and stakeholders. The Cutover Coordinator will work closely with project manager and team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Supports the project management team in the planning, execution, and monitoring of project cutover and deployment from legacy system to new Time Tracking and Absence system.
  • Coordinates project activities, managing documentation, and ensuring effective communication among project stakeholders.
  • Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Develops detailed, step-by-step/hour by hour checklists and schedules for the transition.
  • Coordinates with functional, technical, change management, training teams and all other business stakeholders as needed and manages risks during the cutover process through each go-live/implementation.
  • Identifies dependencies, mitigate risks, and act as the central point of contact for issues during the transition.
  • Verifies data migration integrity and perform business readiness checks (Go/No-Go meetings).
  • Provides regular status updates, including progress and risks, to project leadership and stakeholders. Escalates potential issues and risks.

    Monitors system stabilization and ensure a smooth handover to production support.

Certifications/Education:

Bachelor's degree in related discipline preferred.

Experience:

Three plus years related IT project experience to include the following:

  • Comparable project experience with data validation, migration, system integrations and successful cutover preparation and execution.
  • Project management software and tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to align cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to perform under demanding timeline.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Interviews: 2 rounds via TEAMS

Schedule:

  • Typically Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm CST.
  • Hours may be subject to change based on project needs to include earlier morning hours, evenings or weekends.
