The Indirect Sales Channel Consultant will report directly to the Manager - Indirect Sales to ensure that the indirect channel attains its stated revenue, agent development and customer service objectives.

The Indirect Sales Channel Consultant provides assistance to agents, wholesale providers,and the Manager-Indirect Sales. This role is a key contributor in obtaining revenue growth in these business segments. The consultant will drive agent portal development and provide support to the channel (both internal and external). They will conduct agent onboarding to ensure the indirect partners have all the tools to meet sales objectives. The Indirect Sales Channel Consultant will also submit orders for upgrades, adds, changes, and disconnect orders for existing wholesale accounts. The role will be crucial to help manage agent opportunity requests and wholesale provider requests supporting the Manager-indirect Sales and our TDS product offerings out in the field. This includes both presale and post-sale activities, drafting support material for presentations, creation, support of standard training material for product and promotional activities, proposal generation, drafting contracts, entering orders for existing wholesale accounts into Salesforce, and a key resource for agents on any questions they have regarding agent leads. The Indirect Sales Channel Consultant will assist with order completion from contract to implementation by working closely with the support teams within the sales organization along with communications to the agents and wholesale providers.

This position will work Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm CST.

This position has the ability to work remotely in any of the 40+ States in which TDS Telecom operates.



Responsibilities

    Create and submit necessary order fulfillment management, contracts, order entry for adds, changes, and deletes for all existing wholesale customers. Interact with internal teams and the agents and wholesale providers on necessary requirements to ensure timely feedback and order entry.
  • Provides single point of contact for agents with the agent portal and On-boarding - Drive enhancement development and content management of the Agent portal. Also, will be the primary support for all Agent partner on any portal set-up and support. Agent Web Portal Administrator responsibilities including changing passwords, adding/deleting users etc.
  • Provides support in getting different documentation from the wholesale providers and internal teams to assist with timely order entry. IE... Right of Entry (ROE) Letter of Authorization (LOA), and service address updates to our CSG and SA systems.
  • Manage order delays due to CAA issues, help get issues addressed in a timely manor.
  • Provides support on special projects, ensures the accuracy and timelines of all information required for the indirect channel and or other duties as assigned by Manager-Indirect Sales, Director-Sales, /or Vice President-Commercial Sales.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree (or higher) OR 4+ years professional work experience.
  • 2+ years business-to-business customer service experience and/or sales experience.
  • 1+ years experience in communications or a technology-based field.

Other Qualifications

  • Experience working in a sales or agent/wholesale environment is a plus
  • Extensive computer application experience including Teams, Excel, Word, DocuSign, SalesForce, or similar CRM.
  • Must be versatile and interact well with a variety of people.
  • Must possess strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills, follow through and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
