JOB SUMMARY The primary function of this position is to maintain Arc3 Gases' liquid cylinder fleet. RESPONSIBILITIES Transport cylinders to and from storage or sorting areas, loading docks, or delivery vehicles using a forklift. Assess liquid cylinders to determine necessary repairs. Work with a variety of hand tools. Bench test pressure components. Fill repaired cylinders with cryogenic liquid to perform post-repair operating and leak tests. Enter details of repairs into computer system. Operate cylinder buffing machine. Maintain inventory of repair parts. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Support fellow members of the Gas Plant team and perform other related duties as required. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE High school diplomas or equivalent is required. Forklift license preferred. Self-motivated. WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Stand and walk for eight-hour periods. Bend at the waist and knees frequently. Use full body force to tighten ratchet straps frequently. Loud noise levels. Exposed to all weather conditions.
