A growing precision manufacturing company on the North Shore is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our collaborative finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional who wants hands-on exposure to corporate accounting, inventory analysis, manufacturing operations, and month-end financial processes.

You'll work directly with experienced finance leadership and gain valuable experience across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, inventory reconciliation, journal entries, reporting, and ERP systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist with daily accounting activities including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, accruals, fixed assets, depreciation, and prepaids
• Support month-end and year-end close processes through reconciliations and journal entries
• Respond to customer inquiries related to billing and receivables
• Help maintain financial reporting schedules including balance sheet and P&L support
• Assist with inventory reconciliation and investigate inventory discrepancies
• Perform cycle count audits and analyze perpetual inventory accuracy and valuation
• Support internal and external audit preparation
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and internal control enhancements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, manufacturing, and corporate teams
• Assist with special projects and financial analyses as needed

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Interest in manufacturing accounting, inventory, and cost analysis
• ERP system experience preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O is a plus
