DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position supports the Harrisburg Office by assisting visitors, processing orders, and helping with magazine-related tasks. As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:
- License Processing: Process hunting and furtaking license sales
- Public Assistance: Assist the public at the front counter with professional communication
- Subscription Support: Handle new and renewal subscriptions and address updates for the Pennsylvania Game News magazine
- Order Fulfillment: Retrieve, prepare and ship internet, mail and telephone merchandise orders
- Data Maintenance: Maintain databases related to wildlife stamps and various print sales
- Phone Handling: Receive incoming calls and determine proper actions

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 7:45am to 4:00pm, Monday-Friday, with a 45-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1(Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
