DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This role supports daily maintenance operations by guiding staff, coordinating work, and ensuring efficient facility functions. As a Corrections Facility Maintenance Manager 1, you will perform the following duties:
- Daily Operations: Plan work schedules, assign tasks, and coordinate maintenance activities across the facility
- Staff Oversight: Supervise maintenance and trades staff and provide guidance, training, and feedback
- Project Review: Evaluate assignment details, inspect completed tasks, and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Resource Management: Control tools, materials, and equipment while maintaining accurate inventory records
- Reporting Duties: Prepare required reports and maintain personnel, budget, and operational records
- Emergency Response: Responds appropriately to emergencies after hours

- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience as a Building Maintenance Foreman, Utility Plant Supervisor, or Corrections Tradesman Instructor (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration) with a specialty in one of the trades of Carpentry, Electrical, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Sheet Metal, Machinist, Welding, Painting, Automotive, Electronics, or Masonry; or
- Six years of experience in the construction, maintenance or repair of buildings; or the operation, maintenance and repair of utility services equipment, including two years in a managerial or supervisory capacity; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- Successful completion of Basic Training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
