POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT The Oracle Functional Architect for Planning and Scheduling will be part of the Solution Engineering and Strategy team of Moss's Energy division, which will help develop the end-to-end solution map, drive the end state architecture and roadmap for deployment of solutions, based on business priorities. The goal of the Oracle Functional Architect - Planning and Scheduling is to provide expert guidance and leadership in Scheduling and Portfolio Management using Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC)/P6, with supporting knowledge of Fusion Project Portfolio Management (PPM). This architect-level role requires 10+ years of hands-on implementation experience. The successful candidate will lead the design, configuration, and implementation of OPC/ Fusion PPM solutions to ensure effective enterprise scheduling, project, and portfolio management processes. ESSENTIALJOBDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Scheduling (Oracle Primavera Cloud - OPC):
Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC)/P6 functional areas, including scheduling, portfolio tracking, resource and cost management, dashboards, and collaboration to support enterprise project execution. Support project managers in schedule creation, maintenance, and monitoring. Ensure scheduling data integrates seamlessly with PPM for cost and resource tracking. Develop dashboards and reports to monitor project timelines and variances.
PPM (Project Portfolio Management): (Nice to Have)
Experience configuring and implementing Oracle Fusion PPM modules to support project setup, financials, budgeting, cost management, and resource allocation. Familiarity with defining project structures, cost elements, and reporting hierarchies. Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to map and automate project processes in the system. Experience configuring approval workflows, project templates, and automated notifications.
Other Responsibilities:
Build solutions and develop prototypes in Sandbox and present them to the business. Provide hands-on support for system testing (unit, integration, and UAT) across all modules. Translate business requirements into OPC/Oracle Fusion solutions, ensuring configuration supports business needs. Develop and maintain functional documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and dashboards. Ensure integration and data flow across PPM, EPM, and OPC modules. Ensure configured solutions support reporting and analytics requirements for business stakeholders. Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders. Work closely with the Product/Process owners in the business to align on process, solution, and data. Lead end-to-end implementation efforts for new or changed workflows, including planning, site readiness, pilot design, cutover playbooks, and go-live support.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Proven experience as a Functional Architect with Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC)/P6, including expertise in scheduling, portfolio management, resource and cost management, and dashboards. 10+ years of hands-on implementation and configuration experience with OPC/P6 modules. Experience in 3-5 full end-to-end solution design and implementation projects of Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC)/P6 and integrating with Oracle Fusion PPM. Strong knowledge of project management, cost management, scheduling, and reporting in an enterprise environment. Ability to develop prototypes in the Sandbox and demonstrate. Experience in Engineering and Construction is a plus Experience in Project Planning and Scheduling, as well as Supply Chain experience, is a plus. Hands-on experience configuring workflows, dashboards, reports, and integrations. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
