The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in services deal governance, and the design of scalable processes that support growth without compromising control, data integrity, or customer outcomes.

What You'll be Doing
  • Lead the services deal desk as a core GTM Deal Desk function, defining the intake structure, prioritization rules, escalation paths for services opportunities.
  • Drive margin discipline through structured review of pricing, discounting, resource assumptions, utilization models, delivery effort, and exception requests to ensure services deals meet profitability and policy expectations.
  • Own GTM deal approval frameworks, exception workflows, and policy controls, ensuring that non-standard terms, commercial deviations, and operational risks are routed, reviewed, and resolved with speed and discipline.
  • Partner with services leadership teams to define requirements for CRM, CPQ, approval workflow, and reporting tools so that systems accurately reflect deal terms, approvals, and booking requirements.
  • Improve quote-to-cash execution by identifying bottlenecks, eliminating manual friction, standardizing handoffs, and building repeatable processes that scale with deal volume and complexity.
  • Partner with Sales leadership and Finance to support forecast integrity by validating deal assumptions, highlighting structural risks, and improving visibility into the timing and quality of in-quarter services opportunities.
  • Develop performance reporting and executive dashboards for deal desk throughput, SLA adherence, margin outcomes, exception volume, delivery risk exposure, booking quality, and downstream execution trends.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.
  • 12+ years of technology business experience in Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Professional Services Operations, Finance, or related commercial operations leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Services Delivery.
  • Deep experience owning or influencing quote-to-cash processes, including pricing, approvals, contract readiness, booking controls, and downstream operational handoffs.
  • Strong expertise in services pricing, statement of work governance, margin analysis, delivery risk assessment, bookings policy, and operational controls for non-standard deals.
  • Proven success designing scalable operating models, approval frameworks, SLAs, and process improvements in matrixed or global organizations.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, including the ability to assess profitability, forecast risk, cycle time drivers, resource assumptions, and exception trends.
  • Experience with CRM, CPQ, approval workflow, and reporting systems, including the ability to define requirements, improve data quality, and translate business needs into scalable system solutions.
  • Knowledge of revenue recognition requirements, order management, bookings controls, and services delivery management practices.
Who You Are:
  • Strategic thinker with a consultative, partnership approach to problem-solving.
  • Process-oriented yet agile in adapting to evolving business needs and priorities.
  • Exceptional communicator, able to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Collaborative, inclusive, and committed to fostering a positive team environment.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and driven by a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Success Measures
  • Faster and more predictable deal cycle times for complex services opportunities, supported by clear intake, approval, and escalation workflows.
  • Higher booking accuracy and stronger compliance with pricing, approval, and bookings policies.
  • Improved forecast integrity through better visibility into late-stage services deal quality, timing, and risk.
  • Stronger statement of work quality, margin discipline, and alignment between commercial commitments and delivery execution.
  • Reduced downstream implementation issues through earlier identification of delivery risk, dependency gaps, and operational readiness concerns.
  • Improved data quality, approval traceability, and leadership visibility across the services quote-to-cash process.
  • Greater organizational scale through standardized workflows, clearer controls, and measurable improvements in deal desk throughput and SLA performance.
