Office of Institutional Equity Job Description
The Accommodations and Access Manager will play a key role within the Office of Accessibility and ADA and the University of Missouri as a whole, helping ensure that the University meets ADA requirements and fosters an equitable, accessible workplace for employees with disabilities. Key Focus (approximately 70%) of the role: Secondary Focus (approximately 30%) of the role: Shift
8-5, M-F, with a high degree of scheduling flexibility outside of required "core hours" of 9:30am-3:30pm Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
The following are essential skills for this position: Candidates with backgrounds in counselling, human resources, social work, or disability-related work are preferred. Candidates that have worked in higher education settings are also preferred. While knowledge of accommodations and accessibility will be a key component of the role, broad knowledge of all aspects of the ADA and types of accommodations is not required. In depth on the job training will be provided if selected. This position offers the opportunity to develop deep expertise in ADA compliance within a large, complex institution.
